We help you get fit....through BOXING!  We do NOT run a..."boxing aerobics class" !   If you stay with the program, you will get in great physical shape while at the same time learning the SWEET SCIENCE.

Whether you are training for fitness, recreation, or competitive boxing, BOXFIT808 will work with you, on a personalized level,  with small class sizes to accomplish your goals.   

Whether a beginner or "advanced", we all train together in our BOXING CLASSes.  But, at the same time, BOXFIT808 focuses on what the individual client needs for him/her to achieve maximum results.  "BOXING CLASSES" are conducted as a circuit of 2 minutes of worktime and 30 seconds rest...for about 45 minutes-1 hour.  In addition to pad-work, you will be at a different station during the work-time learning the correct techniques on each type of equipment (speed-bag, uppercut-bag, heavy-bag, double-end bag, slip-bag and more!).

Training includes:

  • proper stretching,
  • shadow boxing,
  • jump roping,
  • punch mitt work,
  • heavy-bag work,
  • double-end bag work,
  • speed bag work,
  • strength training,
  • cardiovascular training,
  • and more. 

Again, we focus on training with TECHNIQUE, not just going through the "motions" like in most "fitness boxing" classes taught by aerobics instructors.  Get fit while learning the correct techniques of the "SWEET SCIENCE".

BOXFIT808 also offers COMPETITIVE TRAINING for those who want to take that extra step in their training.  Our competitive boxer's train with head trainer on more advanced techniques, take part in sparring, special strength and conditioning exercises for the competitive boxer.
